This Tribute is supporting Leonard Cheshire. This charity was very close to Mum’s heart, and in keeping with her doing kindness to others, she gave a lot of her time and energy when called on. She was a key member of the Bury Support Group, fundraising, and helping out as a volunteer on resident trips out. As children we can remember going along as ‘Mum’s little helpers.’ Mum was involved with a number of charities during her life, she gave her all to them, with a real passion. She had an incredible gift of showing everyone that they mattered, and her beautiful smile lit up the room.
